Last year's festival was a blast, so for those of you near enough to come an visit, I can highly recommend the 2016 Muizenberg Festival. Organised by the locals, it's a week long celebration of the wonderfully eclectic nature of Muizenberg with events for kids and biggies including guided walks and boat trips, social and environmental talks and discussions, interactive theatre, the art and design fair at the Blue Bird Garage as well as the Open Gallery Tour of local artists and artisans in the Village, the carnival parade, a dog show (and pug race!), culminating in a concert in the park on Sunday afternoon.
