Bobbington

October 18, 2006

It's been a full couple weeks again, and since I skipped last week's pic, here's an extra one to make up for it: Chris Bonington and Bob Barton were in Cape Town this week for an Outward Bound International meeting and, like any sensible mountaineers, they had one day of meeting and the rest of the week was spent climbing. A few friends from the Mountain Club and I had the pleasure of sharing with them some of the best the Cape has offer, including our rock, wine, and naturally, rooibos tea! We did a few superb routes on Wolfberg in the Cederberg, and then returned to Cape Town to climb some of the classics on Table Mountain.

I discovered that my brick of a Nikon (my Brikon) is distinctly awkward to lug up a cliff but I think my efforts were rewarded...
